How To Type The Apple Symbol On iOS and Windows

Majority of us know the brand symbol of Apple. This symbol is present not only on Mac devices but also on iPhone and iPad. The logo of Apple can be added to files, messages, and other places too. It can be done by the help of special keyboard shortcut or else text replacement ways.

The method of writing the Apple symbol on iOS

  1. Firstly, press on Settings.
  2. Then, press on General.
  3. After that, tap on Keyboard.
  4. Next, click on Text Replacement.
  5. Then, press on the Plus (+) icon. It is present on the upper right corner.
  6. After that, click on the Phrase edit area.
  7. Next, click on Paste for adding the copied Apple symbol.
  8. Then, go to the Shortcut area, write a pair of characters which shall change into the symbol of Apple whenever they are written.
  9. Click on Save. It shall be towards the upper right corner.
  10. Note that the shortcut shall be displayed in the Text Replacement list.
  11. For testing the shortcut, view a new mail, and start writing the shortcut that has been made recently. If it is perfect, then Apple symbol shall get displayed in the suggestion as soon as you write.
  12. Click the Apple symbol for putting it into the mail.
  13. Remember! You need to do the same steps whenever you wish to type the symbol in a message.

The method of putting an Apple symbol on Windows

  1. Firstly, put the combination of Windows+R button for viewing the Run window.
  2. Then, write ‘charmap’.
  3. After that, click on Enter.
  4. Next, choose Baskerville Old Face by Font pull-down option.
  5. Move downwards towards the end of the present symbols grid.
  6. Then, do double click the Apple symbol. It shall be towards the end at the right side corner.
  7. View that the Apple symbol shall be displayed in the Characters to copy area. Choose Copy.
  8. Next, put the mouse cursor in the app and place wherever you would wish to write the Apple symbol. Paste the symbol from the clipboard by tapping on Edit, and then clicking on Paste for pasting the symbol, or else putting the combination Control+V.
  9. Remember! Not every app supports Unicode characters so you might view a question symbol rather than the Apple symbol.
